Muguette Renee Boutique opened their brick and mortar doors in Downtown Napa, California in September 2016. This Parisian inspired boutique offers the shops Signature Candles, Perfumes and Soaps, all made in the boutiques workshop on site. You can also create your own signature fragrance in this elegant downtown store front. Muguette teaches a Perfume Blending Class for groups of 6 to 12.. Reservations required. Cheese hors d’oeuvres and a glass of Rose included. The shop showcases vintage jewelry handmade by the owner herself. She uses bits and pieces of antique findings from Holland, France and Italy. The boutique also carries unique Clothing and Pashminas from Florence Italy that are hand picked by Muguette and her husband Gino on their yearly buying trips to Europe. The shops stunning Kimonos have become a staple for locals and tourists. Offering quality items with reasonable prices was the goal. Beautiful things should not have to cost a fortune.

HISTORY

As a first generation American, Muguette’s parents, who were born in Indonesia and raised in Holland. They came to the United States after World War II, survivors of Hitler’s occupation of Holland. They came to this country to give their children more opportunity. The idea of owning her own shop has been Muguette’s dream since she was a little girl. “Anything is possible with lots of hard work, inspiration and tenacity” she is quoted as saying. Her greatest joy was when her 90 year old parents and stepmother visited the shop to see the fruits of her labor. “They said, they were proud of me, that’s my bliss right there, that’s it. My life is complete”.

HANDMADE CANDLES

All of our Candles are made from 100% GMO free soy wax, cotton core wicks, and lead free glass. Each 8oz candle will burn for 65-70 hours with no black soot. We pride ourselves on using the most ethically and organically sourced ingredients in our candles, perfumes and body lotions and soaps.
