As a first generation American, Muguette’s parents, who were born in Indonesia and raised in Holland. They came to the United States after World War II, survivors of Hitler’s occupation of Holland. They came to this country to give their children more opportunity. The idea of owning her own shop has been Muguette’s dream since she was a little girl. “Anything is possible with lots of hard work, inspiration and tenacity” she is quoted as saying. Her greatest joy was when her 90 year old parents and stepmother visited the shop to see the fruits of her labor. “They said, they were proud of me, that’s my bliss right there, that’s it. My life is complete”.

All of our Candles are made from 100% GMO free soy wax, cotton core wicks, and lead free glass. Each 8oz candle will burn for 65-70 hours with no black soot. We pride ourselves on using the most ethically and organically sourced ingredients in our candles, perfumes and body lotions and soaps.

We are passionate about wine, and our selection of over 300 wines may be enjoyed by the glass or by the bottle. Our close relationships with regional, specialty winemakers means we are able to source hard-to-find wines that honor the depth, personality, and varietal expressions unique to Napa Valley and Sonoma County. Every wine is meant to be shared and enjoyed with friends and family — for everyday and special occasions.

Our draft and bottle selection is a celebration of the innovative talent in brewing and fermentation throughout our region, and our assortment constantly evolves as we discover new flavors and producers.
